Third Giveaway

One of my most recent posters for the film SUSPIRIA. I'm not sure how many people actually enjoy this movie (or my poster for that matter) but I had fun with it and enjoyed travels through a lot of different styles with stupid amounts of process that I'll post later.

Down to the giveaway stuff. If you're so inclined to having this for your wall or fridge, leave a comment about your favorite film score ever (singles or anything else you come up with will be fine too). I have many personal favorites myself, but Goblins on Suspiria are super spookyradical.

One of my all time favorite movies is Alien. If only for the fact every time I went on MGM's The Great Movie Ride a part of me grew more in love—you know, the alarm sounding, the fog machines, and snarling creatures launching themselves from the ceiling—it was a little girl's dream!

I think I'm going to start doing quick illustrations from flicks I adore that just seem to rub me all sorts of great ways.

Starting with Sunshine, Chris Evans brought the role of Mace to life so vividly. The intensity of his character was something I just drool over to this day-but then again, I'm an avid drooler for Danny Boyle and all of his films.

Rachel was kind enough to give me a print before winter break and I have proudly hung it up for display in my kitchen. Her ability to capture strange, hilarious, or even neutral illustrations with her understanding of color and shape always gets me really excited. A lot of my favorite work from her is here and it's pretty juicy.

I know you are but what am I?

I've been watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure non-stop for almost five days. I couldn't contain myself and had to draw something ridiculous. I know I didn't include great folks in there like, Simone or even Andy, her head bashing boyfriend--but it really became an issue on who made the cut. I think I'm going to make another one and really attempt to include everyone. For a calendar I'm hoping to finish in time for January 09.

Crew Expendable

It's true. I did have my appendix removed and I did watch Alien about eight times this week.

And this is a mock cover for a comic book called Cambrai I created for Computer Ill. It's all about a blind french assassin whom was viciously abused by Nazi's during the invasion/surrender of Cambrai and her length of capture. She then seeks revenge on all Nazi's! This will all be revisited later on.
